Khalid’s corporate experience spans advising national and international clients on banking, business registration, share transfers, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, and commercial contracts. He also practised as a Senior Associate Attorney for nearly four years, where he represented clients in complex corporate and commercial matters.
In addition to his legal practice, Khalid has led several capacity-building initiatives for the Attorney General Office, Ministry of Justice, and civil society organisations across Afghanistan. These projects focused on strengthening prosecutorial capacity and advancing legislative and regulatory processes nationally.
Khalid holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Political Science from Kabul University. He was a participant in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition, representing his university at international rounds in Jordan and Hong Kong. Following his graduation, he continued to support future participants by mentoring teams in legal research, drafting memorials, and advocacy skills.
